Chocolate Bar Bouquet

My best friend turned 40! This is a man who neither needs nor wants anything so gifting can be a challenge. I pride myself is not getting gifts just for the sake of getting something. It needs to be meaningful.

The best part of this gift is the price tag, a dozen chocolate bars will run you around $12 (Go to the dollar store) plus another $1.50 for the sticks.

He copuldn’t tell me what his favorite chocolate bar would be so I simply biought 12 different ones. Originally I intended each chocolate bar to be on it’s own stick but it didn’t take long to realize.

  1. That’s a lot of chocolate on a stick.

  2. It becomes shockingly heavy fast.

I used a cleaned out peanut butter jar and a piece of pool noodle as a base while assembling. Also stuck some glass beads in the jar to help balance out the weight (seriously.. it gets heavy)

The chocolate bars were:

  1. Coffee Crisp

  2. Mars Bar

  3. KitKat Crunchy

  4. Caramilk Bar

  5. Snickers

  6. M&M’s

  7. Aero Bar

  8. Hershey’s Cookies & Cream

  9. Hershey’s Milk Chocolate & Almonds

  10. Reeces Peanut Butter Cups

  11. Twix

  12. Toblerone

Once they were all secured on their sticks (some doubled up) I removed it from the jar and wrapped it in some brown paper and a white ribbon I had kicking around to keep it cozy.

Voila! A delicious and practical gift for under $20
