Happy August, Friend!
Welcome to August! Living inland in a coastal province means humidity.. But we survive. August is always full of celebrations for me including camping trips and birthdays. My best friend can be difficult to buy for so I love creating small but meaningful treats for him for his birthday. Check out the chocolate bar bouquet I made for his 40th birthday: Chocolate Bar Bouquet.
If you’re enjoying this newsletter, please forward to a friend who you think will also enjoy a quieter corner of the internet.

August is also a reminder that fall is just around the corner so I hope you find the time to take the season in before it disappears for another year. When I have a free day, I like to explore my own backyard and one time found myself at Hobart Beach which was just around the corner from The Flying Apron.
